Consumer service jobs. They can be essential for the survival of a business and these skills are needed in more jobs than you might think.

Well, these are five of the highest paying consumer services jobs.

1. Client Solutions Manager

One of the highest paying jobs in consumer services is a client solutions manager. Here, your job would be to be the one to solve problems and tackle roadblocks that a client or your business may have. You can be the one that talks a client off of the ledge.

For this job, you need strong communication skills and you need to be organized. The reason is that you have to not only double-check that employees are providing the service that the client needs, but also keep constant communication with the client and help them with business ideas and projects tohighest paying jobs in consumer services.

An example can be someone that works for a writing agency and is working with a client that is in the medical field. They want an article about the medication you can take, but the law requires that you not recommend certain things.

Here, a client solutions manager can be the one to communicate with the client to ask exactly what they need and communicate to the writer what the specific requests are for that article.

2. Customer Experience Strategist

Another consumer service job that pays well is a customer experience strategist. Here, your job would be to analyze data about your customers and target audience.

From there, you would use that data and figure out how you can make your business services cater more to that. Also, you can figure out what target audience your business should have and what demographic is responding best to your product or service.

For example, let's say that you run a cruise line and are trying to figure out which demographic books your cruises the most. You look at some data and determine that people over 60 and parents with kids are the ones that book your cruises the most.

So, you can share that information with your business and plan more activities and amenities that are designed with them in mind. Then, you can research past surveys involving those demographics and even create your own survey to get a better idea of what these people like.

3. Banking Relationship Manager

This is a more specific job than the ones above, but it is also one of the highest paying out there. The reason is that this job involves influencing what banks businesses decide to invest in and put their accounts in.

For this reason, your job would be to retain businesses that already have accounts with your bank and try to acquire new ones to start using your bank.

You are essentially the face of customer service for your bank. At the same time, you need to be proactive and figure out what new businesses could potentially work with your bank.

An example could be identifying a rising industry in your local area and then doing research to figure out what businesses are involved with that. Then, if you are in a more tax-friendly or business-friendly state, you could try to be proactive and get those businesses to consider using your bank for those benefits.

4. Customer Success Director

With this job, you are in charge of an entire department whose job it is to make sure that your business's customers have a positive experience.

This is an important job because businesses are well aware of how much it benefits them financially to retain their customers and ensure they have positive experiences.

About 90% of Americans have customer service as a factor as to whether or not they do business with a company. If a business loses a customer, it can be 5 to 25 times more expensive to get a new customer.

You have to train your employees on how to talk to their customers and what to suggest to the customers. You also have to come up with marketing campaigns to help retain customers and keep them satisfied.

5. Vice President of Customer Service

Finally, you have the vice president of a company. Here, it is likely the only person that you would have to answer to is the president, CEO, or the owner of the company.

That means there is a lot of responsibility on you to run the customer service department of your business. You hire and train everybody in your department plus keep tabs on how they are performing.

On top of this, you may work with the president and other vice presidents of the company on developing long-term goals for the business and coming up with marketing campaigns.
